Global EV Sales in 2018: Estimate = 2.7 Million

From Frost & Sullivan (keep in mind this is GLOBAL, not just U.S.) –

. . . electric vehicle sales stood at 120,000 units in 2012 and [F&S] estimates this to reach 2.7 million units in 2018.The global markets are indicating an upward trend in adoption as Frost & Sullivan estimates 2013 sales to boost up to 170-190,000 global sales which is more than 50 per cent increase from the previous year sales.
